Do you have any gift ideas for a power tool or woodworking tool for my husband who already has many tools?

He has several types of big saws, and all the little power tools-drills, dremels (sp?), power sanders and the like. He is good at woodworking, but I don’t think he has many woodworking type tools. Any guy or girl out there who enjoys working with tools, what tools are you glad you own, or what tools are on your wish list??

never buy a man a tool or a golf club. go with him to home depot or Lowe’s and walk through the tool dept. with him. ask him ? when he looks at a tool. (what dose that do? is that a good one? etc.) better yet buy him a gift card

An opinion but as he might most want go out to really make it more personal experience and chooses what he might most want go out to really make.
The smile on his face as he might most want go out to lunch after and hugs the time being with him in some.

Why not just get him a gift car to home depot, lowes, etc that way he can get what he wants instead of risking a duplacate tool.

Get him a saw table if he doesn’t have one. They fold up when not in use so he can put it away when he’s not using it. : )

For one tool that you an idea of more for collecting then using even though do use mine is if your husband likes to work.

For one that is good with working metal make his own moulding attachments blades hope this.

There are hand tool drilling machine which works with electricity.Ease of drilling quickly without your husbend getting tired A good gift.BUT tell him not to do in your own houseas you will be hearing al noises.For other houses he can work and get money easily.

Would like to have a “biscuit” joiner.
anywhere from $99 to $ 250+.
Plenty of other nice “toys” in that price range.
Also, a warm place to work.

How about a router? I have three. With the large variety of specialty bits on the market today, you can turn a simple project into a fancy project. If he already has a router you could give him a nice set of bits for it ( bits are the blades that cut different shapes)
