Inherited a set of Bosch power tools from my dad, I can’t seem to lock drill bits on to the tool. Any clues?

Twist the silver/black tip (chuck) where the bit goes into. Also there should be a removable chuck key on the drill to tighten the chuck. They are universal so if yours is missing, you can purchase a new one.

I assume this drill has a keyless chuck, which means you twist the the end of the drill by hand to tighten and loosen the chuck.
