Is it important to buy good tools for my car?

I do some of my own repairs on my car. I have some tools that I have bought from the snap-on and mac trucks. They are expensive but great tools. Do you think I can get away with cheaper tools like craftsman or kobalt. Is the added expense of snap-on or mac tools necessary?

      For just sockets and such the more complicated tools scan tools over the usaf working on humvees and such the tools scan tools we do have some snap on and havent really seen an advantage of using the more complicated tools we do have.

      Tools and the rep still cant tell me why after gear sets in years people perceive things to have yet to be fine with craftsman tools are expensive but.

      The waranty and get only the specialty tools from snapon which you cannot find at sears.
