Is there a way I can use US power tools in Europe?

I will be in Europe for awhile and have to use power tools (sanders, saws, rotary tool) while I am there, I am considering getting a power converter (220 to 110 1600watts) to use my US tools there. Any other Ideas on how to accomplish this? Or does anyone know a place to buy cheap EU power tools in the US?
I am a bit worried about using the converter as I have read sometimes they overheat so any info would be great. Thanks

      Converters can overheat, why not rent power tools once in europe? it would be easier I think.

      Converters overheat when you use more power than they’re rated for. Check your tool and look for the right converter, go a little higher if possible.

      The socket configuration for where you can buy 120 to 240 transformer but check on the socket configuration for where you are going.
