What are good brands of power tools?

What’s a good brand of power tool that will hold up under heavy use. I’m getting tired of wearing them out and buying new ones that fail after six months.

I’ve either worn out or had malfunctions with all of the brands mentioned so far. I favor Milwaukee ( I think someone mentioned that) and Porter Cable. Professional brands cost a lot more but will last a lifetime. Powermatic, Wadkin and Altendorfer make good table saws. If you can get old Delta stuff it can be rebuilt indefinitely.
