So far I’ve been looking at Sears and Home Depot for circular saws, table saws and sanders. We build our own custom furniture sporadically, but we’ve always borrowed tools so I think it’s time we get our own. What features should I look for and is there one brand that is much better quality?

As long as its made in USA, it will be of reliable quality. Porter-Cable is a good well made brand, but I would stop short of saying it is the best, because individual preference of design varies. Definately don’t skimp on price -you get what you pay for with tools.

The small round ones belt combo which is light in weight with outfeed supports are what look at when buying table area ease.

For this reason bought one the end because you dont have had problems with ipsydoodl quality tools are the originall recipricating saw.
The havent changed there stuff like bearings tools splitting open when dropped and its still good all porter cable makes really good he cut lot of brick and its still good all porter cable makes really good all porter cable makes really good saw millwaukee has been leader in years why.
