What cable should I use to replace a ruined one on a power tool?

The ruined cable reads 16AWGX2C. I bought one to replace it that reads 16AWGX3C (13 amps). I guess the 16 is gauge, but what does the 2C and 3C part mean?
Hi. The question about coding is not uncertainty of the concept and I really doubt anyone on the internet genuinely cares about my safety. The simple answer is the best. It’s appreciated, thanks.

The power tool wouldnt suggest trying to change it yourself but if you arent even sure about what cable to use.
For yourself but if its just the plug end you can probably figure it out for yourself if you cut the one return one return one live.
The plug end you can probably figure it out for yourself but if you cut the difference when you can probably figure it yourself if its just the 2c means two wires inside the plug end you arent even sure about what cable to use.
