What is an easy woodworking project for school?

      The easiest thing I can think of is a wastepaper basket or magazine holder. Each one only takes four sides and a bottom. Depending on the tools you have the tops can be cut in a curved pattern. Then all you need is glue (optional) nails and paint or stain.

      Napkin holder(s), book ends, kitchen cutting boards, corner shelf, paper towel holder, banana holder, etc.

      Bat house, they have a mortgage problem also.

      Carved bowls are good also.
